Krishi WMF (Wilt Management Formula) – Biological Solution for Wilt, Root Rot & Nematode Management
Healthy roots are the foundation of productive crops. Soil-borne diseases such as wilt, root rot, and nematode infestations can severely affect plant growth by damaging root systems and restricting the uptake of water and nutrients. Krishi WMF (Wilt Management Formula) is a biological formulation developed to support root-zone health by establishing beneficial microbial populations in the soil. Its carefully selected consortium of beneficial bacteria and fungi helps suppress harmful soil pathogens and nematodes, creating a healthier environment for crop development.
WMF is designed for preventive application and can be integrated into sustainable farming practices across a wide range of crops. By enhancing the microbial balance around the root zone, it supports stronger root growth, improved nutrient absorption, and better crop vigor throughout the growing season.
Key Features
- Biological formulation for wilt and root-zone disease management
- Contains beneficial microbial consortia including Bacillus, Pseudomonas, and nematophagous fungi
- Helps suppress soil-borne pathogens such as Fusarium and Ceratocystis species
- Assists in reducing root-knot nematode populations in the rhizosphere
- Supports healthy root development and nutrient uptake
- Suitable for preventive disease management programs
- Promotes sustainable and low-residue agricultural practices
- Shelf life up to 1 year when stored under recommended conditions
Recommended Crops & Uses
Krishi WMF can be used in various crops where wilt and root diseases are a concern, including:
- Pomegranate (Wilt and Dieback Management)
- Turmeric
- Ginger
- Capsicum
- Green Chilli
- Vegetable Crops
- Other horticultural and field crops prone to soil-borne diseases
Application Method
- Apply through soil drenching near the root zone.
- Recommended dosage: 3 kg per acre.
- Apply at planting or early transplanting stages for best preventive protection.
- Repeat applications every 15–20 days based on crop condition and disease pressure.
- Avoid mixing directly with chemical fungicides.
- Maintain a gap of approximately 7 days between biological applications and synthetic crop protection products.
