Bouncer is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide formulated for the complete control of a broad spectrum of annual, perennial, and broadleaf weeds, including grasses and sedges.

Developed by Insecticides (INDIA) Limited, this product contains a high-concentration formula of Glyphosate Potassium Salt. Once applied, it is absorbed through the foliage and translocated throughout the plant to the root system, ensuring the entire weed is eliminated and preventing regrowth.

Technical Details and Mode of Action

• Technical Content: Glyphosate Potassium Salt 54% W/V SL (equivalent to 41.6% w/w)

• Mode of Action: As a non-selective systemic herbicide, Bouncer inhibits a key enzyme essential for plant growth. It is absorbed by the green parts of the plant and moves down to the roots, providing thorough, down-to-the-root control.

• Broad-Spectrum Control: Effective against virtually all types of green vegetation it comes into contact with.

• Formulation: The Potassium Salt formulation is designed for effective uptake by the plant.

Application and Suitability

Bouncer is intended for general weed control in non-crop areas such as industrial sites, railway tracks, field bunds, and irrigation channels. It is also widely used for clearing fields prior to sowing or planting to create a clean seedbed. Due to its non-selective nature, extreme care must be taken to avoid spray drift onto desirable crops or plants, as it will cause severe injury or death.
