Intrepid Insecticide by BASF
Intrepid Insecticide by BASF is a broad-spectrum insecticide designed for use in crops like Chilli and Cabbage. It offers reliable control against Diamondback Moth (DBM), mites, and other target pests. Intrepid belongs to the diacylhydrazine class of insecticides, featuring a novel mode of action that mimics insect molting hormones, making it effective through both contact and stomach action.
Mode of Action
Intrepid disrupts the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the insect’s mitochondria, impairing energy generation and vital cellular functions. This results in the pest’s death due to energy depletion.
Key Features & Benefits
Broad-spectrum control against DBM, mites, thrips, and spodoptera.
Longer-lasting protection compared to conventional miticides and insecticides, reducing the number of sprays needed.
Translaminar action enables control of pests feeding on the underside of leaves.
