Colfos is a powerful insecticide from Pi Industries, combining 40% Ethion and 5% Cypermethrin in an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. This innovative combination is the first in India to incorporate Ethion as a key component, providing effective control over a wide range of pests that threaten crops like cotton, vegetables, and pulses.

• 40% Ethion + 5% Cypermethrin Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)

Mode of Action:

• Ethion: A non-systemic insecticide with a contact action, Ethion inhibits the enzyme Acetylcholinesterase, disrupting the transmission of nerve impulses in insects, leading to paralysis and death.
• Cypermethrin: Functions as a sodium channel modulator, keeping sodium channels open and causing hyperexcitation or nerve blockage in pests, resulting in their swift elimination.
